Join Fred Shoemaker, Jo Hardy, and SIS Host for our annual week-long gathering in celebration of the magic and mystery of the "gemme".

The Bandon Dunes Resort provides the perfect opportunity for a complete and unique golfing experience on some of the most beautiful and challenging golf holes to be found anywhere in the world. This incredible venue is home to Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, the recently completed and much praised Old Macdonald... and now, Bandon Preserve, a brand new 13-hole par 3 masterpiece to provide one more fantastic golfing option. Comprising as a group the most acclaimed golf courses to be built anywhere in the past fifty years, these magnificent walking-only* true links courses provide the perfect setting to celebrate the spirit of Shivas!

We will begin most mornings with a quiet meditation, or some other contemplative activity designed to quiet the mind and open our hearts and our spirits to the upcoming adventures of the day.

We will play golf each day with a schedule that will allow ample time to gather for a further exploration of the mysteries of the game on the practice tee or in group sessions.

Optional Rounds at Bandon Preserve, the brand new 13-hole par 3 facility designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, will also be available during our visit... We have booked tee times for Wednesday afternoon as well as the morning of our departure on Friday. More details and pricing will be available after registration and as the event approaches.

Of course, the evenings will provide plenty of opportunity to get to know each other better, as we dine on gourmet food, share our favorite stories, and gather to "sing the praises" of the glorious game of golf.

Registration Fee Includes: All meals, beginning with dinner on Sunday and concluding with breakfast Friday. Greens fees for four rounds of golf. 5 nights lodging (See "Accommodations" section below). Unlimited use of practice facility and range balls. All group activities and transportation to housing areas and golf facilities located at the resort. Also included is an $800 tax-deductible contribution to the Shivas Irons Society.

Not Included: Caddy fees or pull cart fees. Green fees for optional rounds in Bandon Preserve, Transportation or transfer between the resort and local airports, alcoholic beverages, dinner beverages, desserts, personal items such as telephone charges, laundry or any other personal charges you may incur and any other items not specifically mentioned as “included” in the above paragraph.

The Inn at Bandon Dunes

Located just south of the 18th green on Bandon Dunes, our new coastal lodge features 39 single rooms with golf course or coastal forest views. The Inn is conveniently located just a chip shot away from both the Trails End Clubhouse and The Lodge at Bandon Dunes, providing guests with easy access to McKee's Pub, the fitness center and more.

*Special Note: Bandon Dunes is a Walking Only facility. Four consecutive days of play on these seaside courses can be strenuous and demanding. This workshop is recommended for individuals in good physical condition who are able to maintain an appropriate pace of play.
