2008 Erin Hills Event a Success

On Saturday, July 21, twenty-eight SIS members and guests gathered at the challenging Erin Hills Golf Course in Erin, Wisconsin for a memorable day of golf and comeradarie. Bob Lange, founder of Erin Hills, was our guest speaker. He shared both the history and the hopes for the future of the property and discussed its relationship with the USGA. This year Erin successfully hosted the Women's Public Links Championship and is scheduled to host the US Amateur in 2011.

The course is well on its way to becoming a "must play" midwest destination. Our "Claret Jug" is on permanent display so watch for the announcement of next year's outing and an opportunity to have your name engraved on it.
