Tiger Woods Made Me Cry

Over the last few months, the view from my desk has not always been pleasant.

Since the post of a column on our website regarding Tiger and the scandal surrounding him, I’ve watched as a man who has spent the last 18 years dedicated to the Society and its mission shed numerous tears of sorrow and of frustration.  I’ve seen him sit day after day rereading and rewriting while questioning his own actions, words, and beliefs.

Things I Like About the Society; A Non-Golfer's View

Ask an accountant why he likes his job and the answer would probably be that they like numbers and money. Ask a doctor and the answer could be they like saving lives. But why would a non-golfer choose to sit behind a desk so cluttered at a Society promoting golf?

Am I a Golfer?

Jo queries whether she is a golfer and details playing at Pasatiempo in 2007.

I have worked in the SIS office for almost three years now and have never felt the urge to pick up one of the many golf clubs lying around to swing it at imaginary balls.  I do not know any golfer who would be able to walk by without at least fondling a club head. I have come to believe this is the way to test for a “true golfer”.
