Nine Glorious Days in Scotland! This is a joint venture with The Shivas Irons Society and the Golf Historical Society of Canada. Play with hickories or conventional golf equipment. This trip is currently full. But here are the details:
Day 1: Start Day of the Trip, Friday, May 3rd
-coach picks up group from Glasgow International Airport/Glasgow Hotel by 10am for drive to play Western Gailes in the afternoon http://www.westerngailes.com
-overnight at 4*Marine Troon Hotel https://www.themarinetroon.co.uk
Day 2, Saturday, May 4th
-relax in the morning in Troon
-play Glasgow Gailes https://www.gaileslinks.co.uk/course-information.html
-have a whisky at Piersland Hotel (old Johnny Walker family home)
-overnight in Troon
Day 3, Sunday, May 5th
-leave early and take about a 5-5 and a half hour drive from the Marine Hotel with a stop at Stirling Castle and lunch on the way to Brora
-have mid-afternoon round at Brora
-overnight at Royal Golf Hotel and Links House in Dornoch
Day 4, Monday, May 6th
-play at Royal Dornoch, Championship Course in the morning
-have whisky tasting in Dornoch
-overnight at Royal Golf Hotel in Dornoch that sits beside Royal Dornoch Golf Club
Day 5, Tuesday, May 7th
-check out of Dornoch accommodations in morning and drive 70 minutes to Inverness area to play Nairn Championship Course in the noon/early afternoon time
-dinner in the Bulmer Room at Nairn Golf Club
-overnight at 4 star Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness
Day 6, Wednesday, May 8th
-play Castle Stuart in the morning
-visit nearby Culloden Battlefield following the round
-enjoy a dinner in Inverness after being returned to the hotel
-overnight in Inverness hotel
Day 7, Thursday, May 9th
-check out early from Inverness hotel for 2 and a half hour trip to Gleneagles
-have a great day at Gleneagles playing the King’s Course around noon with a boxed lunch provided
-following the round enjoy a pint in the clubhouse before having a quick rest or walk around the beautiful property
-enjoy a private whisky sampling in the Cellars at Gleneagles before having a private room dinner at this beautiful resort
-overnight at Gleneagles
Day 8, Friday, May 10th
-coach picks up group from Gleneagles in the morning and we drive one and a half hours to play at Prestwick Golf Club for our final round
-after the round have a pint and go to Marine Troon Hotel that sits beside Royal Troon
-closing dinner somewhere in Troon
-overnight at Marine Troon Hotel
Day 9, Saturday, May 11th
-depart from Marine Troon for one hour drive to Glasgow Airport in the morning for the trip home from Glasgow Airport
