You are cordially invited to play golf at Hillandale Golf course with your hosts, Shivas Pro Doug Hodges and Shivas Irons Society Executive Director Ben Kline, and then "sing the praises" and grab a bite to eat and drink after. We have four tee times starting at 2:30.





Doug Hodges is a PGA Professional who is passionate about golf and serving his local community. He is the executive director of Swing Pals (see mission statement below) and a valued Shivas Irons Society member. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, please join us for golf and dinner after. Pomodoro serves wholesome Italian food and is literally down the street from the golf course. Also nearby is a Courtyard By Marriott - 3 minutes from Hillandale. Do you have others who may be interested in joining us for golf and/or joining the Society? Let's have some fun!

The Course: Situated near downtown Durham, Hillandale is a par 71, 6,399 yard public golf course. It features beautifully manicured champion Bermuda grass greens and sculpted Bermuda fairways. Water comes into play on half of the holes. It's a fun track for players of all abilities. Hillandale's motto is "where great golf happens!" And just so you know, the course record is 59!

Before Golf: Meet at the course at 2:00 for warm-ups and introductions. Doug and Ben look forward to welcoming you.

Where: Hillandale Golf Course —1600 Hillandale Rd, Durham, NC 27705

When: Monday, October 16, 2023, four tee times starting at 2:30pm

Who: Shivas Irons Society members and friends - Hosted by Doug Hodges and Ben Kline

After: Join us for dinner and conversation at Pomodoro Italian Kitchen, two blocks from the course

Cost: $30 for golf including cart and online registration

Lodging: Courtyard By Marriott nearby for those who are traveling from out of town
